Who is responsible
Marshall Digital Group Ltd, Wessex Suite, Union House, Union Street, Andover SP10 1PA, is the seller and is responsible for the information collected here. Contact: anthony@marshalldigital.uk.
What is collected
When you order, we collect your name, delivery address and email address, together with the payment reference held by the payment provider, so that your book can be sent and your order can be traced. Card details are never seen or stored by this website.
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address and the message you write, and use them only to reply to you.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Order information is held because it is needed to perform the contract of sale and to meet record-keeping duties. Contact messages are held because there is a legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
Who else sees it
- Stripe, which processes the card payment and holds the payment record.
- The email service used to send order confirmations and replies.
- Royal Mail or the courier used to deliver your copy.
- Our accountant and HMRC, where the law requires it.
Your details are never sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.
How long it is kept
Order and payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires. Contact messages are deleted once the enquiry is finished and no longer needed.
Children
This site is for adults. No information about children is requested, collected or stored — no names, ages, photographs or profiles.
Email updates
Any future reader list will be optional, never ticked by default, separate from buying the book, and confirmed by email before anything is sent. Unsubscribing will always work.
Cookies
Only storage essential to running the site and taking payment is used. No advertising or tracking technology is loaded. If that ever changes, consent will be asked for first.
Your rights and contact
Adults may ask for a copy of their information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, subject to records that must be kept by law. Write to anthony@marshalldigital.uk or Wessex Suite, Union House, Union Street, Andover SP10 1PA. If you are not happy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
